Although now firmly established as part of the Harrogate scene, Weeton's still defies categorisation; nobody knows quite how to describe it! Much bigger than a deli, yet far more stylish than a mere supermarket, we sometimes call ourselves 'the farm shop in the town'.
We're proud to stock over 1000 lines of the finest Yorkshire produce, and we've gone to great lengths to bring local food up to date with flavours from all over the world. One impressed food writer for The Daily Telegraph newspaper used the words 'glossy, sophisticated and cosmopolitan' and even pondered 'is this the future of shopping?'
This year the BBC shortlisted us for 'Best Independent Retailer' in the Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards, and the industry bible, The Meat Trades Journal listed us in the top ten butchers in the country.
We hope you'll agree that our meat counter is second to none - everything you can see in there was produced in Yorkshire - and we pride ourselves on our in-house bakery - fresh bread and deliciously sinful fruit tarts are baked on our premises every day. Our bustling café is a popular meeting place; a coffee or glass of wine as you shop certainly helps to make shopping that bit more fun!
But it's the combination of all these factors, underpinned by a passionate philosophy about food, plus a sprinkling of flair, that makes Weeton’s that very rare thing - a new kind of shop.
Weeton's is delighted to announce a new partnership with Harrogate's Grille restaurant and it's sister restaurant in Leeds. These exclusive events are strictly ticket only so to find out more about our celebration of Yorkshire Food click the Grille icon to the right.
We hope you will visit us soon,
