I have been a customer of Somerset Local Food Direct for over 5 years and cannot praise them highly enough. I buy most of my weekly shopping from them with only occasional forays in to the supermarket for pet food and specialist ingredients. I love the fact that you can check the provenance of each item so I can ensure I get grass fed meat and dairy and local/organic fruit and vegetable. In addition, they are happy to leave the shopping even if I'm out (which I usually am) and the delivery charge is still only £3 despite fuel price hikes. For me it is the perfect marriage of convenience and ethical shopping whilst being able to support local producers.

I have been a customer for at least 4 years - maybe more. Quality of food and service always excellent - and all sourced from within Somerset or the borders. They only source out of area out of season - and they asked their customers for our views on that.

Somerset Local Food Direct do a great range of fresh local produce - not just veg boxes! I gave up the weekly supermarket shop over two years ago now, and haven't looked back since! I order on their easy-to-use website, but you can also order by phone. Highly recommended!
