Merricks Organic Farm near Langport in the heart of Somerset is run by Simon and Jane Brooke. They provide organically grown vegetables, fruit, herbs and home reared Angus beef together with laying hens and Guinea fowl.
Their aim is to grow and supply top quality seasonal organic produce at a reasonable price to a local population from a sustainable method of production.
We have been using the box scheme from almost its early beginningsin the early 1990s. We have never been disappointed, let down - the quality of their produce is excellent: our particular favourites: heirloom tomatoes, cavelo nero, swiss chard, fennel.
