Our Director was diagnosed as a Coeliac - an intolerance to gluten - in 2003. Fed up with the poor selection in supermarkets she went in search of good quality gluten free food. We now have gluten free pies, pasties, quiches, sausages, ready meals and cakes all made locally. Other products not available locally are sourced from smaller and more ethical companies and only made from the finest ingredients.
Johnson's was closed in 2010 due to lack of custom. However I am now launching a new website offering support to coeliacs and anyone on a gluten free diet. http://www.glutenfreefoodies.org.uk/
I found Johnson's at a local Farmers Market. It is refreshing to find such a wide range of products on a small stall and at a very reasonable price. I normally go around Farmers Markets with envy looking at bread and cakes I can't eat! Even better that they know the ingredients of the products they are selling. I am looking forward to trying the goodies I purchased.
