Martin's bacon and sausages (particularly his specials - flavoured with fennel) are superb - and the smell when the smokehouse is operating is fabulous.
If you miss Martin at the many Farmers Market's he attends it's well worth a visit to his Farmshop. Compact but very well stocked. His meat and poulty is always very good value and tastes excellent. Martin can always tell you the source of his meat and poulty in stock, the sign of a good butcher. If you like organic and locally sourced food, you should take a trip to Boathouse. It's open on Sunday's too!
