The meat from Kielder Organics is truly exceptional. Their sausages are probably the best I've ever tasted and the rest of the products are excellent too. I visit their stall at Hexham Farmers market and the people manning the stall are always very friendly and helpful. Have visited the farm too and it's lovely to see animals that are so well cared for. These people are true 'food heroes'!

We have been shopping at George Payne's for a few years now and have always been delighted with the quality of his meat. He has a friendly and knowledgable staff who are only too happy to offer advice.
Most of the meat George sells is from rare breed animals raised and slaughtered locally. His beef is the best ever - especially the ribs! The sausages are also delicious and he offers some really unsual flavours.
George Payne's is how you wish all shops could be - a real food hero.
