We received a lovely friendly welcome to this appealing farmshop with a good range of local products - fresh bread, veg, cheeses/meats and much more. Some interesting products we'd not seen elsewhere! Definitely worth a visit.

We visited for breakfast while on holiday nearby, and had been very excited about trying out the Village Bakery food in-house at their all-organic restaurant! However it was a little disappointing - my porridge hadn't been cooked through properly, and our pastries tasted unfresh and unexciting. My husband did enjoy his breakfast smoothie and the coffee was really delicious, so there were definitely good points. I also thought that the shop would have been bigger - their website certainly leads you to believe so - but it was tiny. Still did apparently have all their products in, and the fresh bread was obviously popular with locals!

Good organic tearoom with lots of tasty food on offer. Very good farm shop, selling their own cheeses and other local types, and a wide range of other organic products.

Organic, biodynamic flour mill with excellent tearoom - delicious lunches including different types of bread made with their own flour milled next door, all amazingly tasty. We had welsh rarebit and a cheese ploughmans, it was the best food we ate in our week spent in the Lakes, and that's saying something!

Lovely little deli shop and cafe with small selection of lovely homewares and clothes, located within the farm. Lots of meat products available produced on the farm (the bolognese sausages were amazing!), you can also eat in (or on the benches outside) - veggie options too and gorgeous pastries/chocolate treats. Very friendly and a treat to visit.

Lovely, friendly deli/cafe with wide selection of local and organic produce, including some rarely found elsewhere. Very good, locally roasted coffee available both in the cafe and to buy, and a good selection of lunch options. Particularly liked the cheeses on offer - yum! Highly recommend.
